fpcupdeluxe mit dynamischen Gitlab-Tags

Ich habe einen Gegencheck gemacht und GIT in Windows installiert.
Offensichtlich ist das Fehlen von GIT der grund dass die Tags nicht gelesen werden.

@DonAlfredo : fpcupdeluxe installiert git ja zumindest soweit dass es damit das Repository downloaded. Ist es möglich, dass das auch passiert wenn GIT beim Laden der Tags nicht gefunden wird?

I did a countercheck and installed GIT in Windows.
Obviously the lack of GIT is the reason that the tags are not read.

@DonAlfredo : fpcupdeluxe installs git at least enough to download the repository. Is it possible that this also happens if GIT is not found when loading the tags?

Normalerweise wird git lokal von fpcupdeluxe installiert (wenn ich mich nicht irre) und zu diesem Zeitpunkt existiert es wahrscheinlich noch nicht. Eine Nachricht könnte nützlich sein.

Unter Linux ist dies nicht so, da muss git installiert werden.

Die Voraussetzungen werden nur unter Windows automatisch installiert (Unter Linux ist das ja komplett Distributionsabhängig). Mir ist das schon seit Jahren bekannt und steht auch deutlich im Readme von fpcupdeluxe so drinnen. Und der Hinweis das es im Installscriptverzeichnis ein paar Beispiele gibt

On Windows, the tools needed to do all the magic are only downloaded (when missing) during the install-process. So only AFTER pressing a install button.
The GIT-tags will not be available on first launch when GIT is not installed on the system. The latest release should give a warning about that. This cannot be changed. The code-base is old. It would trash the logic that this code uses.

My [bad] advice: you can always copy the bootstrap directory from another install as a hack.
