Dort hat cwstring nichts zu suchen. Fred ist hier:

zu erreichen.

Ein Hinweis noch, soweit ich gesehen habe, verwendet Fred feste Layouts. Das ist problematisch wenn die Zeichengrösse ändert. Besser sind fliessende Layouts mit tspacer, tsplitter und tlayouter.

Huh, all the Windows compiled releases were done with Wine (Windows Emulator
in Linux) without problems.

But after the message of lazarusforum.de I did try to compile with the real
Windows 10.

And here, indeed, there is that "Can't find unit unixcp used by cwstring".

Very strange.

Must Linux be used to compile application for Windows? ( )

The problem is in project settings, see projectopt1.png. It should look like
projectopt2.png

Oooops, indeed, fixed, very sorry for the disagreement.

Also there was some tosysfilepath() missing for the Windows 64/32 version
--> "File does not exist...".

---> Fixed in Release 1.4.3.

"coole Sache", habe die .exe grad mal ausprobiert unter Windows 7.
Erinnert mich an "alte Zeiten" mit der Rolanbd TR505 TR707 usw.

täuscht das, oder eiert das Timing ab und zu.
Ich denke das liegt wieder an den "hoch präzisen" Timern untern Windows....

upps, bei Tempo bin ich die Einstellung BPM gewöhnt, Einstellung hier 1/x mittels Intervall ist etwa ungewöhnlich.

Mir gefällt es, supi.

Das ist möglich, Fred aktiviert das ttimer.options to_highres flag nicht. Dann benutzt der Timer die normale Windows Systemtick-Auflösung von AFAIK 15.6ms. Mit to_highres wird der mmtimer mit 1ms Auflösung verwendet.
